The Rod is 2 piece, 4-weight, 8 foot in length, weighing 2 oz., all marked on the rod along with the special serial number (260) and Logo. I have included photo's of the poor case as it has dents and scratches, but has done it's job protecting the rod as designed. The ferrules / spigot fit is tight and positive and the guides are clean but show signs of use.
The cork handle has areas of discoloration from being fished, but is solid and in average condition. The reel seat has a nice Walnut insert and the aluminum down locking butt shows signs of use. The top section is a slightly darker color (replaced by Winston with the same graphite stock as original, but the colors never match exactly) and while the top section looks in unused condition, the lower section shows evidence of moderate use (some cracking of clear coat at logo and stripper guide with rubbings and scratches on the lower section of the rod - see photos). CONDITIONUsed - This rod was returned to Winston for repair (replacement of top section and check of overall rod condition) as the tip section was broken during a fishing trip and now is in good to average condition for the use it has seen.
